Today Bay Harbor Elementary opened its doors again to start the third grading period of the school year. While Miami-Dade Schools tries to find out what are they going to do with the K-8 project they have closed the school field.
This is causing some problems:
1) Our kids do not have a space to have recess or PE
2) The barricades thay have put up are all falling down and it's becoming unpleasant and dangerous.
It's time to really think about safety.
See for yourself.

This is more than unpleasant. It's disgusting, dangerous and unacceptable.
School authorities should handle this situation more responsibly.
And what about code violations? Doesn't the City have any saying on this respect ?
This would not be acceptable in a neighbor's property, so why should we accept it in School grounds. This situation is almost a month old and we, parents and neighbors in general, are not acting.
Agree with Steven, this is a shame !!
